Subj : Fedora 2 wireless pcmcia setup with SMC2635W

I've been putting in some late nights trying to set this card up.  I'm
running fedora 2 on a compaq armada m300.  I was unable to compile the
smc drivers or the drivers on the admtek website I found some through
the wireless lan how to

 and I was able to get the led on the card to blink, but I never
connect.  I'm still somewhat of a newb when it comes to
troubleshooting linux.  If anyone has had any success with this card
please share.
