May I suggest the FREE PuTTY SSH, SCP, SFTP programs for Windows:

http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

We use them on all of our Win pc's.
They're very easy to use, and the download is quite small.
Be sure to read the online docs for useful info - especially
the difference between their SCP and SFTP programs.
