I installed the Xine-UI package and found For legal reasons commercial distributions are not allowed to distribute software which can defeat the DVD copy protection (called CSS). Therefore the xine-lib supplied by SuSE is compiled without CSS support. If you're comfortable with compiling, it's pretty simple. Get the sources from the following locations. libdvdcss http://developers.videolan.org/libdvdcss/ xine & xine-ui http://xinehq.de/ If you're not so confident, you can get the xine-lib, xine-ui and kaffeine packaged as RPM files from packman: http://packman.links2linux.org/index.php4?action=cat&cat=16 Hope this helps -- David Haggett Linux user since 01/01/2003 Email: davidhaggettdemoncouk .
