I've been trying for like a week to get the Cable TV input on my TV
tuner card to work, to no avail. I've used commands like
v4lctl volume mute off
v4lctl volume 100%
The tuner card outputs video just fine, no audio, though
My tuner is an LG TAPC-series NTSC tuner with 125 channels, the chip
on the tuner is a Conexant Fusion 878A chip. I cannot seem to get any
audio at all out of the card. I've already tried to connect the line
out on the back of my tuner card to the line in on the back of my
motherboard (on-board sound) and have adjusted the volume levels to
maximum for every setting available. I need to know anything i can do
to fix this, and what commands to use.

I'm running SuSE Linux 9.1 with kernel 2.6.4
