They are stations in the breakrooms. Further, to keep my scripts running correctly they have to each be logged in to a specific login. To be perfectly honest, putting up a sign saying 'the username is X and password is Y' would be too user-unfriendly. I have a cron script that reopens mozilla if they close it out, because often the window would get closed and they couldn't figure out to click on the icon to reopen it. Another script closes everything once a day in case too many windows are left open on a station. I've removed all icons from the desktop, and all the buttons from the taskbar except the one for mozilla. Its a challenging environment - I have to deal with users who are completely unfamiliar with computers, as well as wanna-be hackers who think they'll use them to get on the internet. (they won't) Since they aren't anyone's computer, but everyone's, there's never a need for the user to log out. And even if they wanted to I've removed the K menu, so they'd have no way to do so. .
