Subj : Fedora Core 2 lost digital audio after entering KDE.

Hey All,
   well, I have this problem when I installed Core 2 I had sound when
I was in Gnome. When I went into KDE, then back to Gnome I lost my
sound output on my Digital Audio Jack on my Soundblaster Audigy 2.
However when I have headphones plugged into analog I still get sound.
The alsamixer doesn't even change any of the settings for the digital
audio jack. So whats up with KDE here? And how can this be fixed?
