I think it's a driver problem (either the driver or GRUB - don't know why that would screw things up). Why? I boot from the Linux floppy i made in the installation, tell it to boot from hda3, and the mouse works perfectly, and there is no USB problem! it only screws up when i boot Linux from the hard drive. And, when i used some X-boot-error-message tool, it said it could not load this driver or maybe the driver did not function as told or something: "/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-ohci.o" -DanielSBen .
