Which hints that you're actually calling removeEventListener inside
the listener function. In which case you hit a bug, present in Gecko
1.7, that skips the next event listener when you do that. The bug was
fixed in Gecko 1.8.

This is a wrong newsgroup for these kinds of question. npm.dom would
probably be more correct.
