New statement syntax, I meant (as opposed to a new operator fitting into 
the expression sub-grammar).  Sorry to pick nits, just want to get this 
more into the form of a specification -- which requires being picky.

BTW, I'm interested in this proposed statement as an extension, if we 
can specify it in a clean and universal way.  Let's start with how it
