Do you mean 6.0 (J2SE 6.0 is in the announcement, and I see JDK 5.0 and 
7.0 mentioned, the latter in future tense)?

I didn't know, but now that you've pointed it out, and I've heard from 
someone else about it today too, I'm going to ping a Sun contact.

Not under the GPL.  Under the NPL, yes.  I'll make sure to remind Sun, 
and request that changes come back under both licenses.
