Last I looked, NOMBAS (now part of a bigger company whose name escapes me at the moment) was still boasting that ScriptEase was faster than SpiderMonkey. We do not generally benchmark or product-market SpiderMonkey against other JS engines. We do try to respond to profile-based performance measurements of Mozilla, Firefox, and other such apps. We are poor yet humble ;-). If you have any benchmarks to share that show us doing well, please post them. It would be fun to see how well we do without trying. In some ways SpiderMonkey is the Rodney Dangerfield of JS engines. We get no respect.... /be .
