Subj : Rhino - how to avoid mem leaks? To : netscape.public.mozilla.jseng From : Dr. S.E. Schleutermann Date : Sun Feb 20 2005 01:50 pm I am using Rhino 1.5 R5 in a Java application. There seems to be some memory leak. Are there any ways to clean up memory pertaining to JavaScript data? The application has a knowledge base that is compiled to a top level scope. Cases are run against the knowledge base. Each case has case-specific data that are put into a ScriptableObject (host object of class RuntimeSession). My question: after the case has been processed, can I force clean up this RuntimeSession object? It will not be needed any more once the case is done. Thanks for help, Sylvia .
