Subj : Porting rhino1_5R4_1 to ARM/LINUX To : netscape.public.mozilla.jseng From : Craig A. Vanderborgh Date : Thu Nov 11 2004 09:23 pm Hello Everyone, I am hard at work on porting Rhino to arm/linux. I am using my own port of gcj-3.3.2 to build Rhino and it is ALMOST entirely working. Most of the problems I've had in porting have been in the double-maths department. I now have arithmetic and math functions mostly working, but a very odd problem remains: In JS, multiplication DOES NOT WORK. I am able to do multiplication correctly with just "plain Java" using the underlying arm-elf-linux-gcj, but when attempted from JS the result of multiplying any 2 operands is always zero. I am certainly not asking for anyone to debug this - I know it's a very exotic configuration and I expected (and had) lots of trouble in getting the port working. What I need to know is - where should I look for this problem? Any ideas out there in Rhino-land?? TIA, craig vanderborgh voxware incorporated .
