They sure could.  We don't yet have rights to those, but the Mozilla 
Foundation should get them transferred soon.  They should be fixed up 
and hosted on developer.mozilla.org -- care to help do that?

I've updated 
http://www.mozilla.org/js/spidermonkey/apidoc/sparse-frameset.html to 
include the request API fixes.
