Subj : Pogo.com JavaScript security error message To : netscape.public.mozilla.jseng From : Mark Roth Date : Mon Feb 09 2004 09:49 pm Hi, When I try to visit pogo.com using Mozilla, I can't get anything to work and nothing appears in either the Java or the Javascript console. When I try using Netscape 7.1 it fails as well, but I get the following error message in the JavaScript console: ----- Security Error: Content at http://play.pogo.com/rooms/roomtabs.jsp?game=chess&site=pogo&lkey=4020fd4a7286ec8c0a66fd3b0000283c may not load data from http://chess.pogo.com/room/loading/init.jsp?site=pogo&scrn=markroth8&rkey=chess-plchsf047&anam=Blue+Again&rspt=8285&ahst=chess.pogo.com&lkey=4020fd4a7286ec8c0a66fd3b0000283c&rhst=play19.pogo.com&game=chess&size=l. ----- Is this a valid security error as per the JavaScript spec? If so, why does Internet Explorer ignore it? And also if so, does Pogo need to update their site to not try and load data from chess.pogo.com on the play.pogo.com page? Is there any way to temporarily disable this security checking so I can see if this is what's causing me the problem? Any insights? Thanks, - Mark .
