What is the current status of Javascript 2.0 and the ECMAScript Edition 
4? I haven't heard anything about this for quite a while.

One of the main reason for asking this is that there are popping up more 
and more implementations for this unfinished language and without a 
specification these might diverge too much.

Another thing is that I think JS2 might help Mozilla as an application 
platform because typed code can be a lot faster than non typed one 
(easier to optimize and less need for runtime checks) as well as easier 
to maintain.
