Yeah, you have to DIY.  JS_InstanceOf with non-null argv is for JSNative 
impls (things that have an argv formal).  The vp formal does not address 
a bona-fide argument vector (one where argv[-1] and argv[-2] are valid, 
the former being the |this| parameter, the latter the callee).
