Subj : Need some legal clarification re: spidermonkey To : netscape.public.mozilla.jseng From : "Sterling Bates" Date : Tue Jul 15 2003 02:01 pm I've been translating some headers (and writing class-based engine abstractions) around SpiderMonkey. What am I permitted to contain in that unit by way of copyright? To clarify, the source will always be OS, but I'd like to protect it to whatever minute degree I can. I'm also planning to build a product around it, which, I assume, must also be Open Source. Judging from the paths of RedHat et al, I'm therefore assuming that my only potential revenue source would be such things as support and other services. Can anybody confirm/correct this for me? .
