Subj : Spidermonkey & Mac OS X To : netscape.public.mozilla.jseng From : adam@swarming.net (Adam Gross) Date : Fri Jun 27 2003 07:43 pm I wish to include javascript support in a game I'm currently working on and I've decided Spidermonkey would be my best bet. Only problem i'm having is getting it to even work with a project. I've read the build instructions and built for unix, since that is closest to OS X, and after it is all done it gives me a bunch of Darwin_DBG.OBJ folders in various places. The only file i could find that would be of any use to me was the library file (libjs.a). I included this into my projectbuilder project and included "jsapi.h" in a file and it cannot find it. What am I doing wrong? If there are any Mac people in this news group I could really use some help. I've worked on the late Freecraft and they used library files w/o any problems, so I don't understand what i'm doing wrong. I will greatly appreciate any help i can get. - Adam (adam@swarming.net) .
