The people who write JS are not the people who can help implement JS2. 
Millions of hackers copy and mutate snippets of JS in web pages; 
thousands program significant amounts of code in it.  Dozens to hundreds 
write SpiderMonkey-specific code, and those people benefit from catch 
guards.  Many are using them now.  Get over it.
