Hi,

I'm trying to instrument a spreadsheet with a 'safe' scripting language,

that looks vaguely like C. JavaScript seems to be OK, on Linux at least,

but it absolutely refuses to build on WIN32.

I dont want to buy MS-VC, nor switch to Java to get portability,
but I cant find a make target for the 'typical' free build environment:

The JS code comes from:

    export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:/cvsroot
    cvs login
    cvs -z3 co mozilla/js

The build command might be:

    cd mozilla/js/src
    make -f Makefile.ref

What should I do?
It doesnt have to be a DLL, static is OK as long as it works.
