Subj : JS_DestroyContext() access violation.. To : netscape.public.mozilla.jseng From : njaguar Date : Thu Feb 27 2003 05:25 pm Okay, I have this persistant core runtime that stays resident in memory, and certain things trigger scripts to run (ie, I create new contexts)... However, occasionally, it crashes with an access violation on the JS_DestroyContext() line. I am completely baffled as to why it's doing this.. Am I supposed to call something else prior to this for cleanup? Etc.. Here's a stack dump of what's going on: // EIP = 0x0CE3CF67 - js32.dll - js_ForceGC+01E7 0548FAE4: 70450208 0049F407 00000000 B4FF4805 pE...Iô.....´ÿH. 0548FAF4: 20460208 70450208 00000000 00CCEF07 F..pE.......Ìï. 0548FB04: 68ED5509 ACF35805 68ED5509 00CCEF07 híU.¬óX.híU..Ìï. 0548FB14: A3CDE30C £Íã. // 0x0CE3CDA3 - js32.dll - js_ForceGC+0023 0548FB18: 70450208 00000000 00CCEF07 1B96E20C pE.......Ìï...â. // 0x0CE2961B - js32.dll - js_FreeAtomMap+063B 0548FB28: 70450208 A4FF4805 4CFB4805 00000000 pE..¤ÿH.LûH..... 0548FB38: 1C1FE20C ..â. // 0x0CE21F1C - js32.dll - JS_DestroyContext+000C 0548FB3C: 70450208 02000000 DF22E10C pE......ß"á. // 0x0CE122DF - d2jsp.dll - startSpiderMonkey+040F It's reverse, obviously, JS_DestroyContext is called in my function at offset 040F, and it always seems to crash inside the ForceGC.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance .
