'dumpbin' is a Microsoft tool that IIRC needs Microsoft's linker 'link' (now
there's a little mystery!); they're both included with Visual C++, which you
can download, along with umpteen megabytes of unrelated stuff, from
.
'pedump' is a corresponding utility made by Matt Pietrek, and you can download
it from .
'objdump' and 'pexports' are utilities provided with the MingW GNU toolset,
which you can download (it's not as many megabytes as Visual C++) at
.
'tdump' is Borland's dump tool, included with Borland C++, which you can
download at ;
this requires registration, but is free.
'file viewer' is a utility included with Windows 95 and possibly also 98 and
ME. I'm not sure where you can download those windowses, if anywhere. But if
you've got one, just right-click on an .exe or .dll and select 'View'.
