Learn other languages, and how to invent those languages in C++. Hence, 
learn Refactoring, Design Patterns, Test-Driven Development, Unit Tests, and 
soft very-high-level languages like Perl, Python, PHP, or Ruby.

Forget C++ to return to it a much better programmer.
