Be nice. :-)  If I've finally managed to understand this new-fangled 
numbering, the kid's only 15 or 16. Clearly he means no *financial* 
benefit.

Side observation: If I'd stayed at grammar school till year 11 I'd have been 
at least 24 years old by the time I escaped.

We had lower sixth, upper sixth, and then third year sixth for those doing 
Oxbridge or A-level retakes, so presumably year 7 would have come after 
third year sixth.
