That is what I think we have all been trying to say by offering advice on things he could do to improve his chances. It should have become clear to Mr Mass that most (95%?) of those of us in this thread hold views that are different to his. The other thing we all have in common is that we have all (mostly) worked for the last decade in the computer industry. Given his behaviour to people who have been trying to help him I would say it is his attitude and social skills that are the problem not the technical skills he once had. He clearly has, after 22 years in the business, no business contacts or someone would have given him a contact for some sort of work to get him going again. It seems ludicrous to me that in an industry that uses instant world wide communications and easy to find contacts, (Plaxo, Linkedin, mail lists, news groups etc etc) he has not made any contacts who will help him. Also he, apparently, has no friends as he knows no one with a PC and a word processor who could help him with his Cv. I think this is the root of the problem not his (now some what our of date) technical skills. Mr Mass, yes, the world is against you. Join the club. It is against all of us. However, Darwin has given us the key..... adapt. Change with the times. It is natural selection. Learn, adapt or stay unemployed. -- \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ \/\/\/\/\ Chris Hills Staffs England /\/\/\/\/ /\/\/ chris@phaedsys.org www.phaedsys.org \/\/\ \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ .
