True. I think the real implication by Scott's colorful statement is that it's a bummer that we can't be forced into a particular set of chains. The very use of the word 'proletariats' isn't by accident. It is part and parcel with the dogma that insists that everyone do things a certain way. Freedom isn't brain washing. Freedom isn't armies of identical clones. Freedom isn't working for nothing in the hopes of an equal share of the wine and the rice bowl. I fully support Scott (and anyone else) that wants to use only open source software, and wants to work only on open source projects. To do as they wish with their money and their time is their right, and who am I to say otherwise?
