rather than tinking of specific technologies (.net vs java for
example), consider career as something broader:

Software engineer
Database Administrator
graphic designer
Hardware (Electrical) Engineer
Business Analyst
Game Designer
....others.

Try talking to a college recruiter at a school near you to find out
about programs available. What are your real interests? How do they
mesh with possible choices in career. If you want ot work in computers
and programming, you really need to get a college degree (IMHO).
