Thanks everyone for your (mostly) helpful replies.
And sorry for my late response, due to circumstances
I haven't had the chance to respond earlier.

I've triggered quite a thread. Makes me feel important ;-)
Seriously, your replies have helped me return to reality.
I think I just have to learn to live with it and do
what I can to help improve the product quality and the processes.
And I have to keep my patience while doing so.
