No. A harbinger is an indicator, not a cause. The cause is the long time commoditization of travel and the more recent globalizing of communications. McLuhan's Global Village is all but here. Several years ago, I sat up all night and watched--in real time-- a war taking place on the other side of the world. Long ago, when singer Tom Jones had his own tv show and his guest of the week was Dione Warwick, they sang a duet about how someday we'll all be coffee-colored people. I think that day is inevitable. Of course, by then, I suppose we'll have found other things to fight each other over. We always do. -- |_ CJSonnack _____________| How's my programming? | |_ http://www.Sonnack.com/ ___________________| Call: 1-800-DEV-NULL | |_____________________________________________|_______________________| .
