I didnt explain it too well - i was in a hurry. what i meant was to be 
able to use a very basic audio stream (maybe like a modem's) to send 
data to, say a dictaphone or a minidisk recorder and being able to 
retrieve the data losslessly. The problem with minidisk though is that 
it compresses all data using ATRAK wich is lossy
