Well, w/ experience and some basic "people skills" one can become quite
adept in screening out those who <won't> fit into a particular team. 
You are (to your detriment) experiencing (I started to say "learning"
but it's unfortunately becoming clear that behavior modification and
accepting constructive criticism are not your strong points) that a
great deal can be told from a resume and other forms of nonverbal
communication.
