I think Ben may suspect you are making it up. :-) For the record, I am experimenting with a newsreader with a 'visual thread display' along the side that makes it easier than normal to figure out what posts are in response to what other ones, but that only works if the replies are close to each other and haven't been purged off local disk by expiration.
