Do you mean you implemented PONG using front-panel switches of an Altair, or you implemented a linked-list system and used it to implement big integer arithmetic, or you wrote a dialup BBS, or you wrote a compiler for a new language you invented, or what?? Please give some examples of the kinds of "things" you "did". > It took me a minute, but I managed to get to "truth table" even > before I looked at the hints. And you seem to have the ability to "hack", that is devise creative approaches to D/P problem solving, and to analyze such approaches to compare their relative benefits. Have you been following the problem with e-mail "spam" (unsolicited buik e-mail) as it's developed over the past ten or so years? What solutions do you recommend for: (1) somebody who operates their own SMTP server; (2) somebody who is merely a user on a big ISP that doesn't provide any SMTP-level filtering, so you're stuck dealing with several hundred spam for every one legitimate message after they've already arrived. .
