I haven't had to use link lists after graduating a gajillion years ago. Instead we use databases and associative arrays that come with the language or out-of-a-box. Businesses don't want to pay people to reinvent wheels. Reinventing wheels may be good practice in school, but may give one an unrealistic view of actual projects. There are some specialties where such knowledge is valueable, but it is generally in niches. -T- .
