I suspect that's another > metric your team is failing im not sure, honestly. like i said im new to the project, but in the standups people seem happy. in fact, everyone seems happy except for me. after being stopped while commenting my code i had a talk w/ the lead, he gave me the partyline: descriptive variable names, refactoring... (tho -- to me, if you remove a chunk of code and put it into a new method, give it a verbose name, say "ParseCustomerReturnValues", then arent you really just...making a comment while at the same time adding complexity? wheres the magic here, people? but i digress). ahem. yeah im not sure what the customer/biz vibe is. they seem cool in the standups but thats all i see. matt .
