Well .... If you're saying that anyone who knows the XOR operator should have come up with the XOR-based solution to the puzzle, I don't think that's true. I think it also requires a bit of cleverness, or trickiness, or a certain mindset, or perhaps just having previously encountered similar puzzle solutions. -- | B. L.
