Subj : need some advice

I have completed mechanical engineering degree now completing  1 month
course in c language.I want to know more more about 'C' in real
applications.means any chance for developing a program as a group.If
several people work for a similar purpose it will be benifitable to al
l..so plz reply if any one knows these virtual places
      I also want know weather what to study next is good for me .I
have no knowledge in programming other than 'c'..plz help.
