MS backed up their name "Windows" by claiming "everyone calls their GUI Toolkits 'windows' so we can too". Then as part of their mercantile campaign against Linux, the best kind of judge-shopping is global, because you can always find a good deal somewhere. That's why the two "Windows" offerings too small to fight back, Lindows and wxWindows, had to change their names.
