Subj : Re: Printer question To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : David Ayre Date : Wed Oct 12 2005 02:35 am Thanks Wayne, I actually use all that now when I'm printing to an ink jet or laser printer, but I have another routine that I use for dot matrix printers connected to the parallel port. This is much faster but it only works if the printer is connected to the computer running the programme. However, I have been given some info by someone who has e-mailed me direct which seems to work. It seems that if you set the Printer definitions for the port to be pooled, you can write directly to the PRN port and it will be redirected to the usb port. It works.
