Right. Are you really that ignorant, > or just a troll? Bob : assuming we are still talking about INT 10h calls 1) The variable "directvideo" is *not* mentioned in the documents you have access to. -- Result : You are now standing on quicksand, as your "if it's not in the documents it is not supported" -stance is weakened severely, as the documents you refer to seem to be incomplete (it does not mention something available in the default libraries/header-files). 2) The variable *is* mentioned in the documents, but nothing more -- Result : the documentation leaves much to wish for, resulting in much the same as the above. 3) It is mentioned, but only few one of the choices are mentioned -- Result : questionable, but we could assume that the other choices do not do anything/are not supported (is this the case ? If so, why did you not point me there ?) 4) (Both ?) choices for the "directvideo" are mentioned, and no restrictions are mentioned -- Result : The mentioned choices are supported. (But than, why did you not just point me there ?) 5) "directvideo" does mention the default setting uses some method, but does not mention any others. -- Result : it appears it only supports that choice. (Again, you could have just pointed me to it) 6) the "directvideo" variable description does mention BIOS-writes, but allso states that they are not supported -- Result : I can't get around that, can I :-) You asked me if I was a Troll ? Now I'm asking you why you try to play the "I do not see it (described in the docs), so it does not exist" -reasoning/game. It's something I expect from a 3-year old, not from an adult. Worse : as indicated in the above you should have been able to, with all your knowledge, to find without much effort *something* about it being supported or not ... I get the feeling you know less about those documents than you want to make us believe (I don't want to think about the other option, which includes maliciousness). Regards, Rudy Wieser .
