Most but not all machines support them in graphics mode. I'm sure that INT 10h screen-writing calls actually do work on my machine, as I've used them on other languages. I seem mistakingly have assumed that the *c*printf (and family) ment "console" and would, on an X86, use the INT 10h bios-calls, and that the "normal" printf (and family) would use (redirectable) file-handle output/input. Oh, well. That means I just have to write my own bputs (b for bios) :-) Regards, Rudy Wieser .
