If you do anything which takes advantage of the DOS underpinnings of Windows 95 you may have to right click its icon in Windows Explorer, click the Compatility tab and set it to Windows 95. If you do things which are banned in Win32 application programs but which you can get away with under Windows 95 such as direct port I/O or interrupts then it will not run, but that applies to programs written with any compiler and is not specific to BC++ 4.02 or even to BC++.
