Subj : Borland C++ 3.1 DOS IDE under XP Home - Problem

Hello all

For programming an ICP microcomputer I-7188 I have to use the old 
Borland C++ 3.1 DOS compiler. During the last years this worked well 
under Win98SE, but now I have to move to WinXP Home SP2. After 
installation the BC31 DOS IDE uses about 50% of the CPU permanently! Do 
I have a chance to reduce this CPU amount? It seems that other people 
don't have any problems with BC31 under XP...
