Borland C++, C++ Builder, and C++ Builder X are three different products: Borland C++: discontinued 8 years ago and quite out of date C++ Builder: Still active. Version 6 has been out for a couple years. A new version is due out (probably in 2006) that will be integrated into Delphi. There is also a free command-line version of the Builder compiler (v 5.5) you can download. C++ Builder X: ??? There is some question as to whether this product is alive or dead. Not related to C++ Builder (except in name), but has a more modern compiler engine. You might want to ask more about C++ Builder or C++ Builder X in borland.public.cppbuilder.non-technical Hope that helps, Bruce .
