Subj : BSS section is not there in PE header???? To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : Reddy Date : Thu Feb 24 2005 10:45 am HI folks, I am building a console application in borland c++ 5.02. I am trying to access global variables declared in that program by parsing the data section of the PE file. According to borand C++ documentation it says "all the un initialized data will go to in to the BSS section". But when I am parsing the file I am not able to see the BSS section at all. I use PE Brower also to find the BSS data section. and I came to know that it putting the un-initialized data in the data section. But if you have very large global data it is not putting data in any of the section in the PE? Can some body help how borlad put the data in the section? Look like the documentation is out of date or wrong. -- Regards, Vijay Reddy. .
