Thank you for any reply.

I have an application written in BC5.02, using MFC4.2, running under mainly
under Windows XP professional.

I have been asked to modify it so that it can sniff mgcp packets in a way
similar to that of GNU ethereal.

I really have no idea where to start. I know about socket programming but I
cannot see how that can be of help.

Is there any system call in Windows which allows you to examine all ethernet
packets or is there any third party lib. for BC5.02 which can do this and
one can purchase?
