Hello, I'm trying to do something and I've searched EVERYWHERE and still can't seem to locate any useful information.

I'd like to write a C++ or Java utility program that can find all the expiration dates for SSL certificates on a server. We had a situation where an internally-generated certificate expired in the middle of the night, and it would have been great to know this was on the verge of expiring ahead of time. That's the reason for the program.

Does anyone have any experiences with programatically locating and finding the expiration date of SSL certificates?  Let me know if you do: jfe@americancentury.com
