Subj : Borland C++ 4.5 and GPF error on Win98SE To : borland.public.cpp.borlandcpp From : Chris Stueck Date : Fri Jan 07 2005 12:01 am I have several new PCs which replaced older ones. BCPP was installed and Win98SE is the opsys. I am not sure how this was done, I think a "image" was used. Students report the IDE working Ok but when Debug/Run the GPF error occurs. I have seen several messages regarding installation errors and directions to use a directory off the C root and copy CD contents there. Is this the case here or is it an environment issue. Path links etc. Also, these PCs have been very restricted (ie Not command prompt, No notepad, No windows explorer) Any clues? .
