Wait--you're using the incremental linker with bc++5.02?
I can not longer remember why, but I have the firm
impression that it's broken--and that, no matter how
convenient ilink32 may be, you're better off with
tlink32. Probably you can find details by searching
this newsgroup's archives for 'ilink32'.
